The Herbicide Spraying Program is a vegetation management effort that consists of the application of herbicide to the vegetation growing in certain drainage channels, along specified roadside right-of-ways, cemeteries and detention ponds. By properly managing vegetation, the City is better able to control woody growth in drainage channels that create drainage obstructions, and in right-of-ways, helping to provide an attractive appearance throughout the City.
