Boil Water Notice – Lifted

Local officials lifted the boil water notice for people who get drinking water from the CITY OF BRANDON located in RANKIN COUNTY.

Users were first advised to boil their drinking water on May 8, 2025, when the system lost pressure. This affected approximately 195 customers along Alex Seal Lane, Arbor Court, Blackbridge Drive, Brock Circle, Stonehendge Subdivision, Somerset Lane, addresses 520-730 Burnham Road, and Asbury Lane Village (City of Brandon customers only).

Multiple samples analyzed by the Mississippi State Department of Health Public Health Laboratory indicate the water now meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
